Day 8, and I'm getting sick :(. But I still got out today since it is Memorial Day. I went swimming again for a couple hours with my friends, I did not run this morning because my legs are killing me from yesterdays run. I can barely walk up and down the stairs lol. I gotta go at this slowly or I am only going to damage my body. Tomorrow I have to go to the store to get some more Lean Cuisine. I am in love with the Pizza and Chicken Club from them. The Mac n Cheese really isn't that good. Not enough cheesy taste to it. I hope I'm not going to get too sick because that will just ruin my week for work out, but I guess I won't eat toooo much considering I don't eat much when I'm sick. Oh well. Gonna enjoy the rest of my night and relax, I am incredibly tired. You all have a good evening. Let's Get Physical! :)

Lucky Number 7
That's right, Day 7, Week 1. And today was a good day :) I woke up at 7, had 2 eggs at 7:30 and ran at 8. First time I've really fun in yeeeears. Was tough, but I'm happy I did it. Was completely wiped out for like 2 hours after it haha. I can feel my legs already getting sore. I'm probably just gonna have to go on a fast walk tomorrow if they are too sore, but if I can I will def try to run. I'm not going to do my first weigh till next Sunday, every 2 weeks. I also went swimming today. I think I am going to start doing that more often, it should really help. I'm excited that I have been able to do this for a week and can't wait to see how everything is going to turn out in the end :) Alright well off to enjoy the rest of my night before waking up for another great day tomorrow. Confidently Content
Wow Day 6 already? I feel like this is flying by! I'm incredibly confident with how things are turning out. I'm eating better, I'm exercising and I just feel all around better :) Today was definitely a crazy day, I had to work a long 9 hour shift but that is fine because it's burning calories on my feet. It's incredibly hot here and I had to go do stuff outside 3 times for about 10-20 minutes each today so I was sweating and walking/running/pulling heavy objects a lot. I think that will definitely help with extra burned calories :) I've been doing a lot of research just to learn things about getting healthy and how bodies work. Did you know that you don't do sit-ups to burn calories? They are meant to build muscle which in turn burns more calories then fat? Anyways, I went to the store today and bought a bunch of healthy foods, running shoes and the occasional Sex and the City DVD Haha. I figured it would be good to reward myself :) I also found some small healthy deserts in the frozen section called "Smart Ones", they look good :) Alright well I'm going to go enjoy the rest of my night before I go to bed. You know what tomorrow is? Sunday! And that means I add to my exercise routine! I'll be doing 30 sit ups TWICE a day instead of once, and I will start my running! I'm A Cheater
Haha but that's okay. I've decided Friday nights are my cheat nights. But I didn't go too extreme, I went to a place I know called Ricelli's and I ordered stake with onion rings, a baked potatoe and an AMAZING italian salad. It was well deserved. At first I didn't feel like I deserved to cheat yet but you know, I've been doing good so I wanted to reward myself. Did my "work out" today, I can't tell if they are getting easier or not. So I went to go buy shoes to start running Sunday and they were ALL out! I'm sad, so now I have to go find shoes ASAP tomorrow. Alright well I'm gonna go enjoy the rest of my night of relaxation, long day of work tomorrow. Standing for 8 hours! But hey, that's calories burned! Have a good night! Oh and Let's Get Physical! :)

Let's Get Glam
Day 4, and what a day it was. Nothing really special except that I forgot to bring my granola snack to work! I think I am going to make a schedule of when I want to eat so that I can stick to something instead of randomly snacking on healthier foods. I think when I work 9-5 it might be easier beacuse it sets up times where I can and can't eat. I can really start to feel something in my stomach after I do my sit ups so I'm pretty excited! I've decided Friday's are the day I get to splurge a little but but I don't think I am going to splurge tomorrow since I didn't really start this until monday and that just feels to soon to me. Maybe I will though, still undecided. By the way, I found a song I love excersizing to! It's called "Glam" By Christina Aguilera. I wanna be glam! Haha anyways I'm still optomistic that this is going to work out for me :) Well that is all for today, until tomorrow.... Let's Get Physical! :)

Wter Water Water
Day 3 :) So today I woke up and ate a granola bar + 2 eggs and a lipton green tea citrus for breakfast. It was pretty good, but I accidentally got the normal tea and not diet, oh well, I still know that I will be fine in the long run. Today was the first day of my diet that I went to work, I just had a granola for my snack 3 hours in, and was starving when I got home haha. When I got home I ate a salad with wine vinaigrette dressing and shredded baked chicken that I made a few nights ago. It was absolutely delicious, and as the night goes by Every couple of hours I snack on a granola or 90 calorie cereal bar. Most importantly, I have been drinking A TON OF WATER. I'm in the restroom like every 30 minutes lol. I did my normal 30 sit ups today, when I finished I could definitely feel something going on. I'm excited to see the results in the end of this. Next sunay I will up it to 60 a day and I will start running. I'm feeling pretty confident. Well, that's all for today, see you all tomorrow. OH and remember, Let's Get Physical :)

I'm huuungry
Well here we are, day 2 of 130. Today for me was more about getting the feel of how exactly I want things to go. I'm starting out just doing 30 sit ups a day to get my body going. Yeah it isn't a lot, but that is more physical activity then I usually do haha. I went out to the store and bought some healthy snacks and 100 calorie packs so I have something to snack on whenever I get hungry. I also discovered diet lipton green tea - citrus flavored. It is soooo good. This is definently not going to be easy but I am hoping that I can do this. I think I can :) Every week I'm going to add a new excessive to my daily routine. Next Sunday will be running :) I know this is going to be a long hard process so I hope that I don't start expecting immediate results. I'm hoping this really does work out for me. If anyone out there reads this and finds themselves in the same situation know that I'm here to hopefully inspire :) Alright well I'll be back tomorrow, have a good evening. Let's Get Physical :)

Cody and Codia?
Haha okay so. I've decided to channel my inner Julia & Julia and write a blog about my getting fit and healthy. I figure that maybe if I document what I am doing it will help along the way. Today is May 24th 2010. I am setting a goal not to lose weight, but to tighten up and be more healthy. I did however check my weight as an idea of how my body does. As of today I weigh 174 lbs. I will be exercising, dieting and toning myself. October 1st, 2010 will be my 20th birthday and that is the day I unveil my final results posted with before and after pictures(which the before will not be seen until then). I don't honestly expect to many people to follow this, if anyone but if you do I'll be updating daily with meals, what I did to work and and just my thoughts about how the process is going. This is important to me just for a healthier lifestyle. So with that all I have to say is, Let's Get Physical :)
